I suffer from a rare form of cluster headache. The opioids either don't do squat or are too sedating. The drug I need is expensive so the insurance company fights me every step of the way. I live in an illegal state so I ordered some CBD oil online from two different highly rated vendors. I couldn't stand the flavor of the oil, too bitter. In a recent trip to a legal state, I picked up a strain that was 4.8% THC and 7.8% CBD. It helped with the headaches but I haven't touched weed since the early 90s so my tolerance was basically zero so this actually messed me up enough that I only wanted to use it in late evenings or on days when I could sleep after vaping it. Enter Tweedle Farms and their CBD Kush strain. I tried "Lifter" but it had a foul taste and was sedating. Next I tried this strain and it was exactly what I needed. It doesn't kill the pain but it reduces it to a tolerable level without sedation. The only downside is that its pretty pungent. My wife is ok with me vaping in the house as long as I sit by an open window. This strain gets me banished to the porch.
