So I got some "Chem Dawg" from Carbon in Michigan, IDK which Chem cut it is. It's gorgeous bud; we're talking nugs in multiple shades of green with BIG calyxes and rivers of shiny trichomes flowing between them. I've never seen trichome distribution quite like this; we're talking big, sparkly nugs that glisten like they went to the mall in the 1980's and had some glamour shots taken, it's some of the best looking weed I've ever seen. The smell is interesting for a Chem - it smells like sweet coffee with a note of caramel, like an almost-cappucino smell. It tastes like it smells and it hits very hard; I got blazed from one bowl, it's much more of a cerebral stone but it's also relaxing in the body, a strong sativa hybrid. It's a super stony space cadet kind of high, great for music or movies when relaxing in the evening. I put on my headphones and the Andante from Mozart's 40th Symphony was like a psychedelic trip across the universe, my own 2026 Space Odyssey. We have to keep the Chems around because it's some of the most potent weed in ze history of getting stoned!

Alright, so here’s the deal—I don’t blaze up that often these days. My tolerance is pretty low, so I usually stick to hash. And when I do hit some flower, I tend to keep it solo, ‘cause most strains blast me into deep space way too quick. But Chemdawg? Man… this one’s different. This strain is like that one chill homie who always knows how to set the vibe just right. It gets me good and stoned, but in this effortlessly smooth way—no edge, no paranoia, just pure, easygoing elevation. The head high’s got a nice uplift, keeps things light and vibey, while the body high melts me down just enough to feel cozy but never couch-locked. And the best part? I can actually function around people without zoning out or overthinking every little thing. If most weed hits like a sledgehammer to the brain, Chemdawg is more like a firm but loving high-five from the universe. Social, smooth, and just the right kind of spacey—10/10 would toke again.

One of the best. But some of the description is wrong- first, Dogbud originated in either Southern Oregon, or Northern California, and was shipped out to Colorado, where it was then taken to the Greatful Dead show, before going to Massachusetts and New York. For it's genetic make-up, it almost definitely has to have Skunk in it somewhere, as it's probably one of the skunkiest strains currently in circulation. Lastly, the highest THC test is wrong too. It has tested above 30%. In fact, it may have been the first strain to break the 30% threshold... right above Gorilla Glue if memory serves me right. This is a strain that will always have a following with heavy smokers, due to it's wonderful chemical gas flavors, chunky buds, and powerful effect.

Wooooo super energetic this one. Smells like a strong Sativa and hits like you'd expect. From the SQDC, nugs are frosted with hints of blue/purple and bright orange hairs throughout. The taste reminds me of some all time great Sativas reminiscent of NYC Diesel but not quite as diesely. Really awesome but I would probably caution lightweights/newbies to be sparing.

Yes, it smells chemically. And, it's a rather pretty looking flower with crystals shimmering all over. But, boy, what a disappointment. I felt pressure on top of my head and then my thoughts began racing and a cerebral high got me slightly lifted and then things got slightly psychedelic afterwards with pressurized feelings hitting my head every once in awhile. I noticed that the best qualities I experienced from smoking a joint and vaporizing this strain was a gentle uplifted-ness, but the entryway for this high was not pleasant. A forgettable experience and I will not be using Chemdawg ever again. I'm probably going to mix this with Lemon Walker OG or just decarboxylate it for eddies.
