I grew this strain the very first year cannabis was legal to grow. In S. Oregon, we can grow up to 6 plants w/o a permit. I moved here from Texas that year so my skills were a little rusty. Thank goodness my neighbor, (a police man)was a lifelong seasoned grower here in SW Oregon. He knew what strains would grow the best in our micro climate. We planted six trees in Gold Hill and six in Sam’s Valley. The GH grow was all Flo by DJ Short. We ended up starting them in February inside a tent and on Mother’s Day they gradually went outside until they were ready for full sun. Those trees were planted in 100 gallon smart pots and every one of them were over 14’ tall. After harvest we had accumulated 46#’s of some of the most beautiful buds I had ever seen before. The taste was fruity and EVERYONE wanted to buy some. It sold out faster than the DJ Shorts Blueberry. Both are great strains but Flo is one I’ll NEVER forget. The colas on every Flo tree were as big around as my thighs and super tall. Bugs absolutely hate this strain so pests are not a problem really. The colas are very tight so in order to keep them from molding or rotting, you’ll definitely need a fan and a dehumidifier. Keep the room cool around 70 with all lights off. I found that they tend to tighten up quite a bit so don’t hang the whole cola thinking it won’t rot because it usually will. I gave this strain 5 stars because everything about this strain kicks butt. It’s not lacking anything really. It has the look, taste, smell, and high that makes this strain top shelf everywhere it sells.
