The story about this person Darlene finding seeds in their car then growing them in a 5 gal metal pot in 1969 is bs. I know the actual breeder of this strain he lives in the town of Sonoma in Sonoma county. I smoked the same batch of bud that won the 2012 cannabis cup.
I definitely tasted that sour lemon terp, tasty.
One of the best sativas I've ever had. The bud has a very pungent, citrusy odor and is very dense with lots of crystals. Has a very nice kick and taste to it, notes of citrus and evergreen come to mind.
IN 1969 OR 70 I BOUGHT AN OLD BEAT UP CAR. WHILE WASHING AND SWEEPING IT OUT I CAME ACROSS SEEDS SCATTERED AROUND. KNOWING WHAT THEY WERE AND INSTEAD OF LETTING THEM HIT THE GROUND, I PLANTED THEM. BACK THEN GROWING POT WOULD GET YOU A LOT MORE THEN A SLAP ON THE HAND BUT I DID IT ANYHOW IN OLD 5 GAL METAL BUCKETS. THE SEEDS PRODUCED THE BEST POT (TO THIS DAY) I'VE EVER GROWN. AFTER SMOKING I LAUGHED AND SAID "THIS STUFF COULD PUT YOU IN A COMA". I LIVE IN THE SMALL TOWN OF GRATON IN SONOMA COUNTY SO I NAMED IT "SONOMA COMA," AND THAT'S HOW IT REALLY GOT IT'S NAME!
instant taste very potent I'm glad I found this gem, it seems like more of a indica very heavy head high
Great tasting Fruity Bud! Glad I got to experience this rare Sativa, but after smoking it, I really think it would lean towards more of a indica maybe I had a different phenotype. But it's definitely on my top list! Made me sleepy more then anything 😜
Definitely not what I was expecting from a sativa. Had me melting into the couch like an Indica.
