Sour Diesel

I FINALLY got my hands on some Sour D. Had a co-worker rant and rave about it being his fav strain growing up. I want to say that this is a tough smoke for my pallet. I typically like spicier, BC heavy strains both because I like that small peppery shot on the the first rip... but this one the taste lives up to the name... It's diesel-y, and sour on top of the pepper. It's honestly a tad on the yuck side for me.

That's why no 5th star. Beyond the taste... I can see why he called it an "ideal strain". I'm well lit, but not completely floating... and I'm well body buzzed for comfort and relaxation... but not SO much that I'm velcroed... EXCELLENT high. Hit's you more behind the eyes than the head, so relaxation heavy, less stimulating. The body is just ever so softly buzzing.

The Best! IMO this is the best Sativa strain. I would pick it hands down over any other strain out there. I like the live rosin the best but the flower is great also. I would buy all I could afford. I know three other people that feel the same way about it.

Chill but talkative high, great for a sesh!

For being such an iconic and classic strain, it is incredibly hard to find just straight Sour Diesel in Ohio. It has been number one on my bucket list of classic strains I want to try (along with things like Grandaddy Purple, Jet Fuel, Maui Waui, etc. ) but the closest I've ever gotten was strains like Sour Tangie and Sour Blue Diesel, two of my other favourites.

My love for Sour Tangie and Sour Blue Diesel led me on this multiple year long mission to find Sour Diesel by any means. I'm not a giant fan of the brand I got it from, but this iconic sativa delivers immediately upon smoking it. For me, the high is SUUUUPER wiry and energized, almost to the point of straight up staring at a wall and just experiencing the pure energy.

This is the only review I’ve ever left and I’ve been using cannabis medicinally for the past few years and used to use it a lot when I was younger. This strain I remember being a favorite of mine way back in the earlier 2000s. I hadn’t been able to find it in my area recently or at least not from a solid company.

I finally found both flower form and rosin form recently from Seattles private reserve and this is without a doubt the best strain I have found to date. If used in very very small amounts it is perfect for an early morning start to your day and keeps me in a great mood from a very small amount essentially all day.
